Atlantic City "Bader Field" Potential Casino Development

Pennsylvania Casino and Racetrack operator Penn National Gaming Inc. is offering $800 million to buy Atlantic City’s largest tract of undeveloped land and wants to subdivide it for as many as three or four Atlantic City casinos.  The 140 Acre waterfront tract of land is located at the entrance to Atlantic City off the Black Horse Pike or Albany Ave.  Steve Wynn visited this area in 2007.  The proposed project would cost $800 Million.

The CRDA is disputing the offer and claiming it is a bad deal for the City of Atlantic City!

The community is hoping for this land to be developed within a few years as it will stimulate extensive growth for the community and for Atlantic City, New Jersey.
